What can our mobile dryer do ?
The combination of a powerful dryer mounted on a trolley chassis provides high capacity, great flexibility, easy cleaning between different crops, and the system is completely free of fixed installations. All you need to do is attach a suitable tractor to the Turbodan and you’re ready to dry.
The dryer is easily controlled on the control panel and automatically stops drying when the desired temperature/water percentage is reached.
It is possible to purchase a GSM module so that the dryer sends a text message to up to 5 different phone numbers when it is finished or stops.

What does the tractor do?
The tractor’s PTO uses a gearbox to run the powerful fan that pushes air into the trailer.

Where is the air intake?
The air that is sucked in enters through the oil boiler’s combustion chamber where the air is heated during drying. This is the same way air for cooling comes in.

Where is the air blown to?
The trolley has a sandwich floor where air enters and forces through the gill plates up through the crop.

How does air get into the crop?
The slats where the air is blown up through the crop.

How can I ensure uniform drying?
Auger system that ensures full crop agitation 6 times per hour

How is the cart emptied?
Unloading is easily done by tipping.
Technical specifications
Below you can compare the 3 sizes we offer from Turbodan.
The capacity of the dryer varies depending on the humidity of the air blown into the dryer and the type of crop. Maize and broad beans dry slower than the common grains.

Details
Structure:
The Turbodan mobile dryer is built with a large fan wheel towards the tractor. This is driven by a gearbox driven by the tractor’s PTO. Along with the fan, a generator is connected to provide power to the control cabinet, oil boiler and agitator system.
Pto is designed for max. 750 rpm. /When the vehicle starts, the revolutions are increased until 400V can be read on the voltmeter. This can be unloaded from the tractor.
The air is sucked past the oil boiler, which heats the air during drying. The heater is fitted with 2 nozzles in the burner, and these and air dampers make it possible to adapt the firing to virtually any crop.
The heated air is then forced through the dryer’s double bottom where gill plates guide the air up through the crop as it is stirred.
When drying is complete, the heater turns off and air is still blown through the system and up through the crop for cooling.
When the crop temperature is down again, unloading can take place and a new batch can be dried.
The structure makes it easy to move the system between multiple locations.
